The Special Central Court of Lahore has granted bail to former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in the money laundering case. The Special Central Court granted Parvez Elahi's bail on a bond of Rs 10,000.
Pervez Elahi filed the bail application after his arrest through the mediation of the lawyer.
It should be noted that on June 20, the anti-corruption court granted bail to Parvez Elahi in the case of illegal recruitment in the Punjab Assembly.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had registered a new money laundering case against Parvez Elahi and Monis Elahi on June 20.
The FIA filed charges of corruption and money laundering in the case.
