    Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Monday stated that he shall respect whatever decision Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) shall make regarding his post.

    Shah returned from Dubai after taking part in a high-level party meeting. He was welcomed by Rashid Rabbani, Waqar Mehdi and his son, Asad Shah, at the airport. While addressing the media at the airport, Shah said that he shall respect the party’s decision, adding that he was in no hurry to meet Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan.

    Earlier, nominated CM Murad Ali Shah reached Karachi from Dubai. He was accompanied by Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Imdad Pitafi and Mukesh Chawla. Murad Ali Shah held a meeting with Sindh Governor who congratulated him upon being nominated as Chief Minister.

    While addressing the media outside his residence, Murad Ali Shah said that he shall fulfill the responsibilities bestowed upon him by the party.

    Sindh CM held farewell meetings with provincial ministers and secretaries at the CM House. Qaim Ali Shah is expected to resign within the next 48 hours after which a new CM shall be elected in a session of the Sindh Assembly.
