  • 80% decline in terrorism after Karachi operation: Rangers

    Pakistan Rangers has claimed that 80 per cent decline witnessed after launching of Karachi operation than Karachi named was sixth in terrorism incidents however operation significantly change the situation.

    Briefing to Senate Functional Committee for human rights Rangers’ colonel Qaisar said that the rumor regarding human right violation was not correct as DG Rangers has clearly directed only action against criminals.

    He told the committee Rangers have condected 7950 operation in which 6361 suspected were arrested and handed over to police and 221 to FIA.

    ” From Karachi 1236 along with 48 target killers apprehended and they admitted the killing of 7000 people while 70 to 80 per cent  decline in terrorism and target killing incident was recorded,” he informed.
